Fidelity Wellness Corp, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Southwest Florida, is dedicated to supporting women veterans and survivors of sexual assault on their transformative paths towards self-actualization and living purpose-filled lives. Our holistic approach is intricately modeled on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, ensuring that we anticipate and fulfill our clients' requirements with profound compassion and loving kindness. We strive to Honor, Heal, Empower, and Unite each Warrior Woman we come in contact with.
At Fidelity Wellness, our mission is to empower women veterans and sexual assault survivors by supporting them on their healing journeys, fostering resilience, and promoting holistic well-being. Our goal is to achieve peace of mind, body, and spirit.
We envision a world where women veterans and sexual assault survivors have safe spaces and supportive communities to heal, achieve self-actualization, and lead purpose-filled lives. In this world, all their unique needs are addressed, and comprehensive supportive services are established for both the women and their families.
Fidelity Wellness exists to break the cycles of trauma and suffering endured by women veterans and survivors of sexual assault. Our founder and CEO, Stephanie Petersen, a USMC combat veteran and survivor herself, understands the profound impact of military sexual assault firsthand. After experiencing assault and choosing not to report it, Stephanie grappled with decades of severe mental illness and suicidality, witnessing how her trauma reverberated through her family, perpetuating generational pain.
Determined to create change, Fidelity Wellness emerged as a beacon of hope—a solution born from Stephanie's journey towards healing.
Our organization addresses the gaps Stephanie encountered on her path (as well as the gaps her fellow sisters experienced) offering comprehensive support to empower individuals and families, and ultimately, to end the replication of trauma across generations.
Ensuring access to essential resources such as housing, food, healthcare, and financial aid, addressing immediate needs to provide a stable foundation for long-term healing and growth.
Comprehensive therapeutic services including counseling, trauma-informed care, and holistic healing practices to support mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being
Programs focused on fostering resilience, self-empowerment, and personal growth through skill-building workshops, support groups, and educational resources.
Creation of safe, supportive communities and networks where women veterans and survivors can connect, share experiences, and receive peer support.
Services and resources designed to address generational trauma, support family members, and promote overall family well-being and cohesion.
